The National Gallery, London

National Gallery, founded in 1824, is located on the northern edge of Trafalgar Square in central London. The gallery works of art spanning six centuries. In the gallery collected more than 2,300 paintings. Here are the different schools of art paintings from Western Europe since 1250. The earliest collection was quite small, but excellent quality. Every year the National Gallery attracts around six million visitors of all nationalities. This is the largest art gallery, so you need to plan your visit in advance to see the parts that are of greatest interest. Tours are available in English, other language tours must be booked in advance. In an effort to broaden its audience, the gallery holds sessions every Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 pm.
